Young NCB help judge awards!

Young NCB members help decide the winners of the Children and Young People’s Services Awards. Who better to decide who provides great services to children and young people than children and young people themselves??

Four Young NCB members spent a day looking at entries and had the tough task of choosing the deserving winners of 23 awards.  There were lots of different categories including the Children and Young People’s Champion, the Growing up Healthy Award, the Youth Work Award, the Active Citizens Award plus many more.

A few weeks later when all the winners had been chosen, they were invited to attend the ultra sparkly awards ceremony in Central London, which was attended by over 600 people.  It was a great evening with lots of lovely food, dancing and a great deal of applauding!
