Places to Go??? Are you getting your voice heard?

Young people told the Government that they want more ‘Places to Go’. So the Government is putting money towards ‘ world class places for young people to go’ in local areas. The Government want ‘a transformation in the way youth facilities and services are planned and delivered’. 
AND…they expect adults (council staff or charity staff with ideas) that are spending the money to:

‘ put young people in the lead to plan and deliver dedicated youth projects driven by their views and needs’
 
These youth-led funds should result in youth-led facilities across England (in particular, through the Youth Capital Fund, Youth Capital Fund Plus and MyPlace)… planning and checking out what young people want should be happening …..

We want to check this out with you. Is the thinking, planning and delivery of new facilities and services youth-led…. Send us your experience………..AS SOON AS POSSIBLE or by October 15th ideally!5.
