My Money Recruitment
The Government has given a group of organisations (including
NCB) money to make sure that children and young people can learn
about ‘financial capability’ in schools. Learning about financial
capability means learning about how to look after your money,
managing what you earn, spend and save and discover the cost of
living.
To be able to do this properly we need to make sure that young
people are leading the way and telling us what they want to learn
and how they want to learn it. The project has been running for a
year but we need three more young advisers to join nine that are
already part of it.
You get to travel to different parts of the country to take part
in residentials and meet lots of new people. You can be part of a
real change that will help children and young people all over
England.
You will get your voice heard by the people in Government who
will be making decisions about how and what to teach to help
children and young people learn to look after their money.
You will be a representative for other children and young
people.
