London Transport: Young people have their say
Are you aged between 12 and 25 and would like your voice to be
heard when it comes to the transport policies that affect you?
If so, head for Transport for London's (TfL's) Youth
Participation Forum on Saturday and be part of the decision-making
process.
The event will provide an opportunity to hear from young people
on the recently-launched draft Mayor's Transport Strategy - which
outlines his vision for transport in London over the next 20
years.
Other initiatives up for discussion will be antisocial
behaviour, Earn Your Travel Back, Zip and Teen Road Safety.
An aim of the event is to establish a Youth Participation Panel
which will advise TfL on future policy initiatives which affect
young people.
Attendance to this free event is on a first come, first served
basis, so if you would like to register, email akosuatseayo@tfl.gov.uk or
call 020 7126 4411 as soon as possible.
When emailing, be sure to include your full name, age, email
address and telephone number. Complimentary lunch and refreshments
will be provided, and a certificate of attendance is among the
items you'll be given to take home.
